My Pledge:
I will always put the Constitution of the United States and the American people ahead of party affiliation.
I do not take money from lobbyists, political action committees of special interest groups. I never have and I never will.
I will not run for re-election after my second term in Congress.
I will read every bill before I vote for or against it.
If I introduce a bill, it will be in plain English and less than a hundred pages.
I will never vote for a war unless we have a sound plan to win.
I will only vote for military defense contracts if the products are made in the U.S.A
I will vote for complete border and port security.
I will vote to eliminate foreign aid unless it is for humanitarian purposes such as food, shelter and clothing; I will also vote for military supplies in cases of self-defense.
I will only vote on bills that will promote fair trade, not free trade.
I will vote for an audit of the Federal Reserve.
I will vote to repeal the recent Healh Care Reform legislation.
I am committed to letting our soldiers win—or bringing them home.
I will donate $50,000 of my annual salary to Congressional District 1 schools to buy supplies.
This is my pledge.
